Meet Our Expert Therapists

Susan Katzmire

Susan Katzmire is a licensed professional counselor committed to walking alongside individuals as they navigate healing, growth, and transformation. She believes that every client already possesses the inner resources needed for change and views it as a privilege to support and guide them in discovering those strengths.

Susan utilizes trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to help clients address the impact of trauma, unhelpful thinking patterns, and deeply rooted core beliefs that can shape emotions and behaviors. Her work is grounded in creating safety, insight, and meaningful change.

Susan offers the option of incorporating a Christian worldview into the therapeutic process for clients who desire it, while also fully respecting and welcoming those who prefer a non-faith-based approach. She honors each client’s beliefs, values, and autonomy in the counseling process.

At the heart of Susan’s practice is a deep respect for the therapeutic space itself. She believes the client owns that space, and her role is to protect it—providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where healing can unfold at its own pace.
